Sarflex – C72BP3

Sarflex is a super-premium polymer modified cationic bitumen emulsion. Its principal application is for surface dressing of sites where binders with a range of exceptional characteristics are required. Sarflex is ideally suited for use with surface dressing techniques such as ‘double dressing’, ‘sandwich dressing’, ‘racking in’, ‘inverted’ and ‘multiple layer dressings’. Sarflex has enabled the Roads Engineer to specify surface dressing on sites that previously would have required overlay treatments.

Sarflex is produced and CE marked in accordance with I.S. EN 13808-2013 Bitumen and Bituminous Binders – Framework for Specifying Cationic Bituminous Emulsions and complies with Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s (TII’s) specification for Cationic Bituminous Emulsions.
